How to become a PhD student

Stage 1

Choose a supervisor

Before you submit your application documents, contact your potential supervisor and get his or her approval. Start with our supervisor database.

Stage 2

Prepare your doctoral project

You will develop it together with your potential supervisor and in accordance with the specified requirements. It will be necessary to review the scientific literature on your planned doctoral topic and conduct an analysis of the research methods that you can use in your doctoral dissertation.

Stage 3

Gather recruitment documents

You will need: a resume, diploma with a supplement, certificate of average, your photo, a presentation of your achievements, a statement from a potential supervisor, a description of your dissertation concept and a certificate of English proficiency.

Stage 4

Submit your application

You will submit your enrollment documents for the Doctoral School through the Online Candidate Recruitment system. Remember that you can count on our support at any time.

Stage 5

Let's talk about your PhD

The final stage is an interview. You will meet with an admissions committee composed of representatives from your academic discipline. You can meet in person or online.
